Make Money Completing Online Surveys

How would you like to spend a little free time online completing surveys for money? Well, you can! As a consumer there are many companies that want your input. Your input represents other consumers and many companies want to know what you think. Your survey results will help determine a company’s strategy and what products/services they put forth.

How does it work?

You sign up for free accounts on survey sites and develop your personal profile on each site. Your profile will determine which surveys you qualify for. Companies pay the survey sites to gather survey results. When the survey site determines you qualify for a survey they contact you (generally by email) and invite you to attend and complete the survey for money.

Where do I go to signup?

This is the tricky part. There are tons of survey sites out there but only a few reputable ones. A majority of these sites only reward you with points in which you can never seem to redeem, chances to enter drawings, money you can never seem to withdraw (e.g., your account balance must be at least $200.00 and you must give us your first born before you can withdraw) and other useless tricks and gimmicks. Before signing up for any survey site you should research the payout process and make sure you understand the site’s policies. Failing to do this may result in some major confusion and headaches down the road.

I have personally used the following two sites below and have been paid by each of them without a problem.

SurveySavvy.com

- From the cars you drive, to the food you eat, and to the technology you use in your day to day life, your SurveySavvy.com opinions help to shape the decisions that business leaders are making.

MindFieldOnline.com

- Mindfield On- line is a research panel that provides international clients with the data they need to make informed multi-million dollar decisions. All you are asked to do is complete the registration process and then take a MindField Online survey. What's in it for you? Every client survey has a dollar amount that is paid to their panelists upon their completion of the survey. As I mentioned above, there are many more sites out there like these to try. Just remember to read the fine print so you don’t run into any surprises later on.

How much money can I make?

Not a lot, but you can earn some extra spending money. The average survey payout is anywhere from $1 to $5 and you may only get a couple of surveys a week. It really depends on your profile and which surveys you qualify for. That is why it is very important to fill out your personal profile at each site accurately and honestly as your personal profile will determine which surveys you receive. I listed my IT and technical background in my profile and I was invited to attend a $100.00 1 hour survey around Christmas a couple of years ago. I completed the survey and received $100.00 which was a nice personal bonus for me that time of year. You can also earn additional money by referring friends and family members as well. For every survey they fill out you will receive commission pay. If you are able to refer a lot of people you can really give your ac- count a boost and have higher payouts. Some sites (like SurveySavvy) have a multi-level commission system so if you refer a friend and they refer a friend you receive commission from both.
